Trying to find affordable plant pots can really become a headache. I cannot be the only one who has this crazy obsession for houseplants but literally despises shopping for plant pots. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to put some clothes on our plants. But seriously, it has burned a straight hole through my wallet. Who else is with me on this?
During COVID 19, what else was there to do besides take care of our houseplants? NOTHING! For me, this meant buying more and more plants each week. What comes with more plants? More pots. What comes with more pots? Less money.
And the vicious cycle continues…
Before COVID 19, I’d usually find my plant pots at my local TJMaxx, Ross or Marshalls. Not only do they have an amazing selection, but they are also affordable! Unfortunately when the virus got bad, those stores shut down for months!
Where was I supposed to get new pots for all my new plants?
Of course first instinct was to turn to Amazon. I don’t need to tell you how convenient Amazon is because I am sure you already know.
But if you have been living under a rock, use this link to get a FREE 30 Day Trial of Amazon Prime. How can you possibly say no to access to Prime Video that includes tv shows and movies. Also Amazon Music is bomb. But the best part – FREE 2 Day Shipping! Often times if you order soon enough, items can be delivered to your doorstep literally the next day.
It’s a no brainer. Just click here to get your FREE Trial.
Affordable Plant Pots

But even Amazon I was getting bored with. The same ole pots page after page. Honestly, there were several that I loved but the price was a major turn off. I’d check West Elm, which is every plant mom/dad’s dream, but the pricing is astronomical! Urban and Anthro had some super cute and affordable plant pots but the selection was not so great.
I was running out of options.
One store that remained open throughout COVID was Target. I ended up on Target’s website several times a day. I’ll just cut to the chase. Most of my plant pots are from Target. I spent so much money at Target throughout COVID that I cringe looking back.
But it was worth it.
Below you will find the exact plant pots I purchased from Target that did not break the bank! I also have included my favorite Amazon plant pots as well as affordable plant pots from Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, H&M and World Market!
Happy Shopping!
